I have been dying to own a Denim Dress for a minute so you can imagine my excitement when I got this number. Denim dresses have made a comeback and I love it. They tend to give a youthful, retro and innocent edge to your outfit, making them incredibly feminine.

I think it is best  to wear a denim dress with heels and bare legs. The contrast of the denim combined with the bare legs and is fantastic. It makes you look slimmer, chicer and gorgeous. The Nairobi weather is still undecided so if  you may want to wear a denim dress in the cooler weather, or maybe you just don’t feel comfortable with heels or bare legs, you can always keep warm with some tight fitting leggings or tights, coupled with either ankle boots or cute flats. For Accesories you can add a little cross body bag, clutch or tote to this outfit and layer on your jewellery and sunglasses too, just to really keep it Styling.

For me I did exactly this. I am feeling the Minimalistic trend and because it’s my first day wearing my new babies I didn’t want anything to steal it’s Thunder. For accessories I was also Minimalistic as I wore my retro Vintage sunnies which complements the black boots, and watch and as always added an African touch with the Ankara wrapped Bracelets. Yes my lips have a white stripe on them which will soon be explained so keep checking the blog for that update. Hope all of you are having a lovely week.

Lots of Love
