If you love the look of floral dresses but don’t like feeling too sweet and pretty, this inspiration is for you.

I was going for  a cool way to toughen up the printed dress  with the help of some cool sneakers. The right sneakers can make a statement. In fact, if you’ve been tuning into the runways or street style, then you know sneakers can be the difference between a basic or banging outfit.

As the weather changes we enjoy showing more skin and wearing vibrant lipsticks that bring out our skin tone. Dresses that feature flowers and floral patterns are often our sunny days staples should you opt for a flattering A-line dress, a skin tight bandage dress, or slip into a sexy bodycon dress.

Floral Dresses are a must-have in every girls wardrobe! Besides, there’re so many ways you can go with wearing one, from the 70s vibes to more retro approach, to classic, to girly, to even casual and laid back.

And they go great with heels and ballet flats. A blazer on top will look more classic. For a more sophisticated style chose a floral bomber jacket (mismatched print alert), or even a leather jacket.

Wearing dress you’ll feel totally special – graceful, rebutable, glorious! Exactly like this I feel at pictures with my floral dress

Everything fits in so well with what I typically wear, and I’m most excited about these white slip on sneakers! I tried them on with almost every outfit and they went with everything. They are easy to wear and are leather on the exterior so I’m hoping they won’t get too dirty like a canvas sneaker would.

Consider that larger flowers are more flattering to petite body types. Oversized floral patterns may add a few pounds to your silhouette and thus are not recommended for shapely women. Smaller flowers and floral patterns give the impression of a solid and are recommended for average to more shapely body types.

If your body type is slim to average consider exploring a balance of larger floral patterns and smaller patterns. When unsure if the pattern is flattering try to break up the pattern with a belt or trendy scarf.

Also be sure to consider the host background color of your floral dress. White backgrounds that display bright and sunny inspired blooms are ideal for concealing problem bulges. Darker backgrounds give you a more tailored and tapered look to give your body the illusion of being more slim.

Neutral colors such as black, beige, white, nude, and silver generally compliment floral patterns and are often closet staples (so no extra shopping is needed). From your shoes to your jewelry to the bag you decide to carry, adding a dollop of neutral shades ensures the floral print is balanced and in harmony with your style.

Let’s get inspired now and keep in mind that it’s less about what we wear and more how we wear it.
