I promised myself I wasn’t going to be always talking about the weather, but as you can see, the Nairobi weather is still undecided so I’m right back to being wrapped up again. The upside to this is that I get to wear this beautiful jacket before it gets way too warm to be wearing leather.

I got it from one of my besties who sadly moved out of Kenya. I was honestly obsessed with getting one as I remember I used to sit around day dreaming of outfits i could wear with it so when she got me this when she came back to visit It made me the happiest girl in the world. (Am I the only one who does this? Day dream of oufits with clothing items you don’t own?). I’m so glad she went for this one because I think it’s a total showstopper as every time I wear It, I get people staring at me but I feel like that’s what good pieces do.

It’s always freezing in the morning and so I have to cover up and my skirt does just that for me as it breathes but at the same time keeps you warm. I still wear lighter clothes on the inside so that if the sun pops out I’m not a sweaty mess. I chose my new bandana shirt that is so versatile I think I could wear it every day.

Now if you are in the Natural hair journey like me, sometimes your hair doesn’t agree with you, my solution for this has always been to throw a funky Headwrap on it. I have done two Headwrap series that cover so many different ways of tying them, this way you should Absolutely find one that suits you. This number is called the semi-turban that at you can find on this Post

For accessories I wanted to keep it minimal with my grunge sunnies and chocker but just to throw people off I added my minion chocker that my niece gave to me. It was part of the trinkets that she had put in the cutest DIY rubber bangle but due to me wearing it everyday, it finally gave in and broke. I kept the trinkets and now play around with them.

It was one of those days where I was going to be walking all over the place so my Ngomas were definitely the shoes for me. I think that pretty much covers the whole outfit, its very comfortable but still stylish. Thank you so much for checking it out.
