This season’s hottest trends and one of my personal favourites, is the girly, sexy and flattering off the shoulder top. I mean, who wants when it’s blazing hot outside, you feeling constrained by your clothes.This trend has become a must have wardrobe essential for every girl, whether you choose waterfall sleeves, casual knit or boho embroidery.
Off-the-shoulder tops and dresses allow you to show a little skin without looking too risqué. I’d say they’re the perfect combination of sweet and sexy. So guys you know I have been loving African prints e.g (here) but i was also trying getting unique look. Now, when it comes to Ankara, Amanda always blows me away, I have always checked her snap chat videos just to see whats new in her collection. You cannot believe how happy I was when she said she would be selling some of them in Lublaq, and on sale! I had to go check out her stall and got out with this beauty.
I would say if you are looking for Bohemian, trendy, unique but African infused into them then this girl for you. I think this off the shoulder top is the perfect way to bare that subtle bit of skin in an uber trendy way. I really wanted the whole outfit attention to be drawn to the top (yes, that’s how much I love Amanda’s pieces, I intend to be getting loads more from her ) so I chose to be a little minimalist. I Paired the top with my long black skirt, tied my hair in a bun and put on some black heels. For accessories, it was simple as i threw in a choker to complements the black and a gold watch to give it some color. Here is my first look with this beautiful top. I will be doing plenty more so look forward to that, otherwise wishing y’all a lovely week 🙂
